Sascha Gutzeit
Sascha Gutzeit (born January 8, 1972 in Wuppertal ) is a German musician , lyricist , composer , actor and author . He lives in Hillesheim with his wife and sons .
Act
Gutzeit writes crime stories, songs, radio plays, as well as one-man plays and musical reviews. He also composes radio plays and film music and works as a speaker. He is on stage as an actor, singer, cabaret artist and reader and performs around a hundred performances a year.
Since his debut CD "Feinripp" in 1993, he has released ten music albums with his own songs, some of which are also soundtracks to his stage pieces. In 1999 he played four songs on the subject of “ The Three Question Marks ” on the “Rocky Beach Radio Show” published by Europa-Verlag ( Sony BMG ) . In 2005 his song "Ich bin die Vorgruppe" reached the top 10 of the "best song list".
Gutzeit is a co-founder of the " Vollplaybacktheater ", in which he played the role of "Bob Andrews" from 1997 to 2000. In 1999 he founded the radio play publisher "Meteor" together with Nikolaus Hartmann. He wrote radio play manuscripts as well as radio play music, set to music a. a. Kai Meyer's youth book series “Die Sieben Siegel” and wrote thirty episodes of the radio play satire “Die Drei ??? and her 5-minute cases ”, for which he also voiced various roles.
Gutzeit worked with various actors and voice actors. In 2005 he wrote, composed and staged a musical about Wuppertal, which he played together with voices and in which he sang all the roles. In the same year he was awarded the “ Hoyschrecke ” audience award.
In 2010 Gutzeit's musical theater piece “Monster of Rock” premiered in which he played all the roles himself. In 2011 his book "Doctor Shock" was published, which contains three satirical short stories about the villain from "Monster of Rock". In the fall of 2012 he first performed the children's play "Mr. Schrubb and his tooth-cleaning adventure" in which he played the role of a singing toothbrush. In the piece and in the accompanying songs, Gutzeit addresses dental prophylaxis and healthy nutrition.
Commissioner Engelmann
In 2011 Gutzeit invented the character of "Inspector Heinz Engelmann" for his musical one-man crime comedy The murderer is always the perpetrator . The play was performed for the first time at the Gießen Crime Festival in October 2012 and has so far been performed more than seventy times. The performance on November 22, 2012 in the “Kulturrampe” in Krefeld was released on DVD by the Turbine Media Group . Since then, Gutzeit has written more Kommissar Engelmann cases, which were published in the books "Tot is dead, and schnapps is schnapps!" (September 2013) and "Don't come today, come on morden!" (September 2014). The case of “Kaperfahrt into Unknown” appeared in the anthology “Murderous Moselle Valley”. In autumn 2014, his Kommissar Engelmann play "Mord im Landcafé" premiered. In April 2015, three Kommissar Engelmann cases spoken by Gutzeit will appear as staged audio books at KBV-Verlag .
With constantly new Kommissar Engelmann cases - presented in a mixture of theater reading, live radio play, cabaret and crime concert - Gutzeit has been on tour almost all year round since 2014. In April 2016 his Engelmann musical "Murder until the doctor arrives" premiered. The actor and voice actor Horst Naumann acted as the voiceover narrator for this piece. In autumn 2018 the CD "Jetzt geht Krimi!" at Rakete Medien, which contains 16 of the most popular songs from his crime programs.
