Satan (motorcycle)

Satan was the name of a motorcycle model made by the Czechoslovak motorcycle manufacturer Šikýř – Rott from Prague . In 1929 Satan manufactured his own side-controlled single - cylinder four-stroke engines, which were based on the English brand Panther by Phelon & Moore , with a forward-leaning engine. With an engine capacity of 548 cc (bore / stroke of 82 × 104 mm), a power of 10 gave  PS at 3000 min -1 , which was transmitted through a three-speed transmission to the rear wheel. The machine factory Satan von Sikýř-Rott, which was inexperienced in motorcycle construction, was founded in a time of economic depression, so that only a few motorcycles were built and sold.
