Sathiyan Gnanasekaran (born January 8, 1993 in Chennai ) is an Indian table tennis player who has been in the top 25 of the world rankings since May 2019 . He was a member of the Indian team that won bronze at the 2011 Junior World Championships. Sathiyan has become India's top ranked player in the latest ITTF rankings.

In 2018 he was signed to the German Bundesliga club ASV Grünwettersbach . Before that he was active in Poland at the Zooleszcz Gwialzda. In the same year he was a member of the Indian team that won bronze at the Asian Games. It was the first medal India won at the Asian Games.

Sathiyan comes from Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu . He was trained as an engineer .

In September 2016 he won the men's singles title at the Belgium Open. It was his first professional title.
