Satoru Asari ( Japanese 浅 利 悟 , Asari Satoru ; born June 10, 1974 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Asari learned to play soccer on the school team at Bunan High School and the university team at Meiji University . He signed his first contract in 1997 with Tokyo Gas (today: FC Tokyo). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1999 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . In 2004 and 2009 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 250 games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
