Satoshi Takamatsu ( Japanese 高 松 聡 , Takamatsu Satoshi ; * May 5, 1963 ) is a Japanese entrepreneur.

Life

Takamatsu started his professional career with the advertising agency Dentsū . In 2005 he founded his own company, GROUND, and served as its chief executive officer and chief creative officer . He was awarded various prizes for his advertising campaigns.

He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Space Films and Space Travel . The latter is the first Japanese company in space tourism .

In January 2015, Takamatsu began his training for the flight to the International Space Station (ISS). After Sarah Brightman's cancellation , he could take her place on the Soyuz Soyuz TMA-18M mission . Takamatsu would be the first Japanese space tourist. However, it is also possible that a Russian cosmonaut will fly instead, or that the Soyuz spacecraft will take off with only two people in order to be able to bring more cargo to the ISS.
