The Satower See is located in the municipality of Satow in the Rostock district . The lake has a north-south extension of about 370 meters and a west-east extension of about 200 meters. The lake is lined with roads except for the northern part, on the west bank the county road 5 runs to Kröpelin . The community's school, sports hall and sports field are located on the north bank.
