Saturno Buttò

Saturno Buttò (born May 14, 1957 in Portogruaro ) is an Italian painter who is known for his sacred-erotic paintings.

Life

In 1980 Buttò studied painting at the Accademia di belle arti di Venezia .

Characteristic of his work is the iconographic representation of sensuality and obscure spirituality and grotesque eroticism, often with sadomasochistic references.

Since 1993 Buttò has had numerous solo and group exhibitions.

Buttò also designed the artwork for various bands such as Therion or Camerata Mediolanense - in their video Canzone alla Vergine Buttò is in his studio and part of the plot.

Buttò lives and works in Bibione .
