Saulius Girdauskas
Saulius Girdauskas (born September 21, 1970 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian car athlete and politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1989, he studied mechanics at the Kauno politechnikos institutas from 1989 to 1992 and completed transport engineering at the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas in 2004 . From 1994 to 1998 he was commercial director at UAB “Haupas”, from 1997 to 2004 chairman of the board of directors at “Regentus” and from 1998 to 2004 director at UAB “Hautera”.
From 2003 he is a member of Darbo Partija , from 2004 to 2008 a member of the Seimas and from 2007 to 2011 of the Kaunas City Council . Since February 2013 he has been Lithuania's Deputy Minister of Transport .
He was a Lithuanian car racing champion.
