Saulius Kubiliūnas
Saulius Kubiliūnas (born January 4, 1947 in Nemunėlio Radviliškis , Biržai district ; † March 7, 2012 there ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Nemunėlio Radviliškis in 1964, Kubiliūnas graduated from 1964 to 1969 with a degree in radio engineering from Kaunas University of Technology and became an engineer. From 1969 to 1971 he worked in Klaipėda . From 1972 to 1995 he taught physics and mathematics, astronomy and computer science in his home town. From 1995 to 1997 he was the mayor of the Biržai district and from 1997 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .
He was a member of the conservative Tėvynės Sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai (TS-LKD).
