Sauschütt (Anzing)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Anzinger Sauschütt was a Sauschütt am Heilig-Kreuz- Geräum . The forester's house with forest restaurant was demolished on July 21, 1979. The technical aid organization Markt Schwaben blew up the building at that time. The Sauschütt was located in the Anzinger Forest , the northwestern part of the Ebersberger Forest , in the State Forest District VIII (spruce) around 500 m south of the road from Obelfing near Anzing to Ebersberg . A clearing reminds of the forester's house. The Maria im Wald chapel, located almost 100 meters to the west, was demolished because it was in disrepair, but rebuilt in 1996 with the reuse of individual elements.

The building was built in the first half of the 19th century. It is already drawn on the original position sheet 694 from 1852, but not on the somewhat older historical land map. In the historical place name book of the district of Ebersberg from 1951 this Sauschütt is mentioned as a wasteland with one inhabitant, belonging to the municipality and parish of Anzing, as well as a settlement from the 19th century, located at a pig hut, feeding place for wild boars.

In the 1950 census , Sauschütt was identified as part of the municipality of Anzing, with 4 inhabitants in 1 residential building. At the 1961 census there were 3 residents. For the 1970 census, Sauschütt had already resettled, and he no longer appears in the 1987 index. According to BayernAtlas , the former exclave no longer belongs to the municipality of Anzing, but to the municipality-free area of Anzinger Forst.

On May 8, 1945, immediately after the end of the Second World War , the former owner of the forestry department and innkeeper Ludwig Neissendorfer planted the peace beech , a copper beech , between the inn and the chapel in the restaurant's former garden . 50 years later, a group of friends from Anzingen put up a memorial stone on the beech tree as a token of thanks for 50 years of peace with the inscription:

On the same occasion, the foundation stone for the new construction of the chapel was laid at a well-attended forest festival. According to the inscription above the entrance door 19 AVE MARIA 96, this was inaugurated in 1996.
