The Auma Obama Foundation - Sauti Kuu ( Kiswahili : Strong Voices ) is a foundation that was founded in Kenya and has also been active in Germany since 2013. The initiator and CEO is the Kenyan Auma Obama , a half-sister of the former US President Barack Obama .

The organization supports children and young people in their independent actions and tries to provide start-up assistance for an independent and financially independent life. The aim is for children, young people and families to discover, develop and use their own resources and potential in a targeted manner. The work of the foundation focuses on the areas of personality development, training and further education as well as sustainable economic growth.

The organization is supported by many international partners.

In 2019, Auma Obama was awarded the Hans Rosenthal Prize for Sauti Kuu .
