Saville Island is an uninhabited island in the Australian state of Western Australia . The island is located in the Pentecost River , in the Scambridge Gulf . It is 3.6 kilometers from mainland Australia.
The island is 170 meters long and 40 meters wide. Nearby are the islands of Adolphus Island . Kent Island and Fairfax Island .
