The Scandferries Holding ApS is a holding company under its subsidiary Scandlines Germany GmbH and Scandlines Danmark ApS two ferry routes in the Baltic Sea between Denmark and Germany operates.

history

The holding company emerged in 2007 from the conversion of "Johanna" Zwanzigste Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH . At the end of August, the three shareholders of Scandferries, 3i Capital Group (40%), Allianz Capital Partners ACP (40%) and Deutsche Seereederei DSR (20%), acquired Scandlines GmbH and transferred it to the holding company. From the 2008 financial year, the individual Scandlines subsidiaries will be included in the balance sheet. Deutsche Seereederei (DSR) transferred its 20 percent stake in equal parts to the two other shareholders 3i and ACP on October 29, 2010. The British financial investor 3i has been the sole owner of Scandferries Holding ApS since 2013
