Veit Schäfermeier

Veit Schäfermeier (born April 6, 1977 in Herford ) is a German musical actor .

Career

Veit Schäfermeier was born in Herford and grew up in Löhne. He took private singing lessons, played theater at the youth art school in Löhne, where he also did his community service, and completed training at the Vienna Conservatory from 1998. During his training, he took on his first leading roles. His first engagement took him in 2000 to the ensemble of the musical "Mozart". He then played Davie and Jekyll / Hyde in "Jekyll & Hyde" in Bremen, then the roles of Lord Savage & Albert in the Viennese production. In the same musical he was seen in 2003 in the Musical Dome Cologne as an alternative cast of Jekyll & Hyde. He then played the first cast of Grantaire and the second cast of Thénardier, Bishop and Bamatabois in “Les Miserables” at the Theater des Westens in Berlin .

Then Veit appeared in Hamburg in the "Dance of the Vampires", where he played the roles of ensemble and cover Graf von Krolock, Professor Abronsius and Chagal. In the Berlin production of “Tanz der Vampire” he was the first cast of Professor Abronsius on stage. At Theater Bielefeld after he played the role of "Jekyll & Hyde". Then he played the role of Fred Hoffmann in the world premiere of "I've never been to New York" in Hamburg. From December 2008 to May 2010 he was seen in the world premiere of "Der Schuh des Manitu" as Winnetou. Then he had a short guest appearance as Fred Hoffmann in "I've never been to New York" before he took on the role of Percy in "The Scarlet Pimpernel" in Bielefeld . From September 2011 he played Anatoly Sergievsky in " Chess " in Bielefeld . Since November 2011, Veit has again played Professor Abronsius in Dance of the Vampires in the Berlin Stage Theater des Westens. He then played Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard in Bielefeld and as Cyrano in Cyrano. In the summer of 2015, Veit performed with Disney in Concert on the Berlin Waldbühne with over 16,000 spectators.
