The Beautiful Palace is in the style of neo-baroque built castle in Sosnowiec in southern Poland in the Silesian Voivodeship .

history

The palace was built by Ernst Schön at the end of the 19th century on the outskirts of the village of Pogoń . The building is located near the Warsaw-Vienna railway and has a neo-romantic park. The Schön-Palast was rebuilt several times, but the largest modifications took place after the Second World War . A kindergarten and private apartments were built in during this renovation.

During the 1980s, the palace was registered by the Katowice Voivodeship as a Voivodeship Monument . In the spring of 1985 the palace was converted into a museum. In 2005 the 20th anniversary took place. During this time, many exhibitions, demonstrations, cultural events, concerts and conferences took place.
