Jakub Körner (born December 3, 1979 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey player who has been a defender for the Black Dragons Erfurt in the Oberliga Nord since 2018 .
Career
Jakub Körner began his career with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League . Via the stations EV Regensburg and the Selber Wölfe , he came to ERC Haßfurt in 2001 , where he played for three years. In the summer of 2004 he moved to ESC Dresden and was promoted to the second division with the Eislöwen team . For the first Bundesliga season in the history of the Eislöwen he received a contract due to convincing performance, but did not extend it after the 2005/06 season and moved to league competitor SC Bietigheim-Bissingen . There he played until December 2007 when he asked for a contract termination. A few days later, the Eislöwen signed him again. With the Eislöwen he reached the championship of the major league in 2008 and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
In September 2009, Körner signed a contract with ESV Kaufbeuren , which had previously been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. After five years at the ESVK, where he was temporarily assistant captain, he switched to the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in May 2014 .
After three years with the Eispiraten, Körner left Saxony in May 2017 and was signed by the EHC Freiburg , also from the DEL2.
