Schaaren is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

The formerly independent town of Schaaren is located in the south of Seelscheid between Unterste Zeit and Kotthausen .
history
In 1830 Schaaren had 19 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 25 Protestant residents in five houses. In 1888 there were 21 residents in six houses.
In 1910 the farmers Heinrich Haas, Heinrich and Wilhelm Heinen lived here .
In February 2016, Schaaren had 61 inhabitants.
The settlement belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
