Shakir al-Fahham
Shakir al-Fahham ( Arabic شاكر الفحام, DMG Šākir al-Faḥḥām , also Shaker al-Fahham ; * 1921 ; † 2008 ) was Chairman of the Academy for the Arabic Language in Damascus and Minister of Education of Syria .
Life
He was one of the Fellows of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ( Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ).
He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( english A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. " Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... " ) (October 13, 2007).
