The snake break is a nature reserve in the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate . The approximately 13 hectare area includes parts of the communities of Hütschenhausen and Ramstein .

Through the protection, the "wet meadows and reed meadows, large sedges , reed beds , intermediate bogs , peat cuttings , shrubbery areas, birch-alder high forests, as locations of typical and rare wild-growing plant species and as habitat and partial habitat of typical and rare animal species threatened as well as the corresponding communities ”.
