Aschbachtal hunting lodge pond

The nature reserve Aschbachtal-Jagdhausweiher lies in the area of the independent city and the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 19.49 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of August 1, 1990 , extends along the Aschbach between Dansenberg , a district of Kaiserslautern in the north, and the local community of Stelzenberg in the south. Not far to the west is the L 502 state road , and the L 503 to the northeast.
The area includes flat, intermediate and raised bogs , flowing and still waters , reed beds and sedges .
