Heimerbrühl

The Heimerbrühl nature reserve is located in the districts of Kaiserslautern and Kusel in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 49.85 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of December 10, 1985 , extends south of Dietschweiler , a district of the local community of Nanzdietschweiler , directly on the L 358 state road that passes along the southern edge of the Glan .
The area comprises floodplains with near-natural, strongly meandering streams, wet meadows , tall herbaceous meadows and shallow water zones .
