The Schalbusdag (Schalbus-Dag) ( Russian Шалбуздаг or Шалбуз-даг) is a mountain in Dagestan over 4000 meters high . According to legend, King Solomon is said to have his tomb at the summit. The mountain is considered sacred and is climbed by pilgrims .
According to local tradition, the believer is cleansed of all sins by climbing the Shalbusdag.
