Castleton Cupstone

The Castleton Cupstone stands on Castleton Hill, west of the Pool of Muckhart , at Dollar in Clackmannanshire , Scotland .

The 2.2 m high, 1.0 m wide and 0.9 m thick menhir ( English standing stone ) stands near the west side of the eponymous farm. It is seen as a reminder of an unknown event.

The stone has a number of small bowls , especially on the lower part of its north side, some of which can be attributed to weathering. No information was found during the investigation regarding the laying of the stone in the 1920s. The stone was first described in the name book from 1859.
