Draft fraud

Tap fraud is a form of deception of the guest by the innkeeper for the economic benefit of the innkeeper. The offense of draft fraud occurs when the host serves less than the amount of a drink indicated on the menu. Dispensing fraud can be avoided by using transparent vessels made of glass or plastic with an official calibration mark instead of stone or clay jugs .

The Association against Fraudulent Pouring eV (VGBE) has existed in Munich since 1899 .
