Sharavyn Gungaadorsch

Sharavyn Gungaadordsch ( Mongolian Шаравын Гунгаадорж ; * 1935 ) is a politician of Mongolia and was the 15th Prime Minister of Mongolia (Chairman of the Council of Ministers) from March 21 to September 11, 1990.

Life

Gungaadordsch was born in 1935 in Ichchet-Sum in Dorno-Gobi-Aimag . He graduated from the Russian State University of Agronomy in Moscow with a doctorate in agronomy and is a member of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. He is married and has three children.

Before he became Prime Minister, he was three times a member of the Great State of Chural , Minister of Agriculture and Ambassador of the Mongolian People's Republic to North Korea and Kazakhstan .

In Mongolia, which has been democratic since 1992, he again held a seat in parliament from 2000 to 2004, as a representative of electoral district 33 in the Selenge Aimag . During this time he was also chairman of the permanent commission on the environment and agricultural development.

Gungaadordsch has been the director of Agropro since 1997 .
