The Scharbower See is located in the north of the Sternberg lake landscape in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , in the Mustin municipality . It is located about 1.5 kilometers east of Ruchow, a district of Mustin. There is a small weekend and holiday resort on the north bank. The little indented body of water has a maximum length of about 700 meters and a maximum width of 270 meters. The bank slopes are steep and wooded except for the west bank. In the west the lake merges into the Scharbowbruch . The outflow towards Mildenitz is also located here.
