Martynivka treasure

The Martynivka treasure is a find of 116 silver objects, probably from the 6th or 7th century. It was 1909 in Martyniwka in the Cherkasy Oblast in the Ukraine found and is in the National Historical Museum of Ukraine in Kiev and in the British Museum in London .

The find consists of four anthropomorphic figurines, animal figures, bracelets, chokers, earrings, fibulae and other things. The figures and objects show Avar , Hunnic , Bulgarian and Byzantine influences. They are mostly assigned to the archaeological Penkowka culture .
