The Schierensee south of Grebin in the Plön district is a lake in Schleswig-Holstein . It is located in Holstein Switzerland and is surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape .

The Schierensee has an irregular shape that runs from the southwest to the northeast. It has a length of approx. 550 m, a maximum width of approx. 300 m, is approx. 21 m deep and has a size of approx. 13 ha .

The Langmoorsee drains into the Schierensee in the south . In the northeast, the Schierensee drains into the Schmarkau , which flows about 150 m away to the south - this flows over the Schmarksee into the Behler See .
