Castle Vielsaßing
The former luxury seat of Vielsaßing was located in the district of the same name in the municipality of St. Florian am Inn in the Schärding district .
Filceizingen is documented around 1130. In 1752 there is a purchase agreement from which it emerges that the Süz Villsassing was bought by the Baron von Armansperg. In 1837 Vilsaßing is mentioned as a noble seat in the country. Anton Graf von Thun is also mentioned as the owner of Vielsaßing. A Dominium Vilsaßing is entered in the land register of the Engelhartszell District Court .
The small castle was house number 2 in the village of Vilsaßing and the Mayr farm was the Maierhof . Today nothing of it has survived, but allegedly stones from the noble estate are still being excavated in the corresponding field.
