Mud wrestling (also: mud wrestling ) is a form of wrestling match that is mostly practiced by women. In the erotic variant of this show sport, the fighters are naked or only lightly clothed.

Mud wrestling first became popular in California in the 1930s . Today it is popular in the United States , the Far East, and Eastern Europe, but is considered offensive due to its clear erotic connotation and cannot be compared to sports .
