Abrasive front

A grinding front , quasi-stationary front or front garland is a term from meteorology that describes an uninterrupted line of different fronts in different directions and characteristics .

The contrasts in air pressure in the affected weather areas usually lead to heavy precipitation ( thunderstorms with heavy rain , hurricane gusts and occasional hail in summer , and heavy snow in winter ), with mostly the same areas being affected several times by the weather.
