List of nodes

The sling is in the knots a category of nodes (reduced in size, is narrowed), namely each eye, which incurs on train. The most important loops are described in the list of knots under the type "loop".

Properties and use

A loop is a variant of the loop in which the eye closes when you pull on the standing part. It is similar to a mooring knot, but is tied in the hand and not directly around an object. So it can be used to bind objects, but also to set traps like a dohne .

Knot

There are two ways to tie loops. In the first type, a tight loop is formed through which a bay is drawn, like a lasso , for example . The second type consists of tying a single homogeneous knot, such as the simplest loop, the Slipstek . This type can usually be untied without loosening the knot.
