Castle 18, 19

The building Schloß 18, 19 is a listed Schnitter barracks in Freyburg (Unstrut) in Saxony-Anhalt . Today it is used as a residential building.

It is located northeast of Neuchâtel Castle on the west side of the street Schloß .

The simple two-story house was built around 1890/1900 in half-timbered construction . The facade is clad with boards . It was built to accommodate harvest workers who were employed on the Neuchâtel domain and is a socio-historical testimony to the time of the domain.

In the local register of monuments , the Schnitter barracks is listed as a monument under registration number 094 83460 .
