Bielenz Castle

The Bílence Castle ( Schloss Bielenz ) is Bílence in Ústecký kraj in Czech Republic .

The village Bílence was first mentioned in 1355, whose owner was Heinrich von Bielenz (Jiří Bílenec z Bílence). He presumably also built a fortress here , but this is only definitely documented in 1510.

From 1572 Adam Stampach von Stampach owned the rulership, who sold it to Havel Hrobschitz von Hrobschitz (Havel Hrobčický z Hrobčic) in 1573 . Havel's eldest son sold the fortress to Asman the elder Štampach von Štampach in 1618, whose property was confiscated in 1622 after the Battle of White Mountain . The fortress then became part of larger rulers and fell into disrepair at the end of the 16th or beginning of the 17th century.

In the second half of the 17th century a farm yard was laid out in Bílence, which included the remaining parts of the fortress (if they still existed at that time) in its northern part. In 1766 the court came into the hands of Prince Heinrich von Auersperg . He built the small baroque palace at the court .
