Castle beggars ( Polish Dwór w Bielanach Wrocławskich ) is a half - timbered mansion in Bielany Wrocławskie ( beggars ) in the powiat Wrocławski ( Wrocław District ) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .

history

In the 16th century at the latest, a three-winged mansion was built in beggars, which was presumably secured with a wall and moat. After being destroyed in the Thirty Years' War , the manor house that is preserved today was built at the end of the 17th century on the ruins of the cellar vault. The building is a multi-storey building with St. Andrew's crosses placed in the window parapets . From 1876 Eugen vom Rath was the owner, and until 1945 the property was owned by the sugar consortium "vom Rath, Schoeller and Skene".

After the war ended in 1945 , the castle and Silesia came to Poland. Although it survived the occupation by the Red Army unscathed, it was increasingly neglected from the 1960s, but was constantly inhabited. The building has been a listed building since 1994 and has been professionally restored from 2005 in private ownership. A wooden beam ceiling from the construction period inside had already been restored in 1907/08.

The surrounding farm buildings from the 19th century have been converted for use as residential buildings and shops. A baroque granary with a high mansard roof has been preserved to the south of the dominion .
