history

On the left is Lazarus von Schwendi, Imperial Baron of Hohenlandsberg , in the middle is Georgius Thúry de Közép-Thúri and on the right is Emperor Maximilian II.

This family was mentioned in documents around 1390 under the name Joannes de Thur and was royal ambassador. The family owned the dominions in Dolné Turovce, Horné Turovce and Veľké Turovce . The sex was able to establish itself politically and militarily very quickly.

This also shows: When the counts of the Dalmady de Dalmad family slowly died out, Ilonas adopted Dalmady de Dalmad's brother Gregorius Michael de Kis-Thur. Thus Michael could also use the title de Dalmad and was thus also a co-owner of the Domadice estate .

The political and military climax of the family came in 1540 with Georgius Thúry de Közép-Thúri, who was a military genius in the fight against the Ottoman Empire.

This sex married noble families like Dalmady , Zichy, Pomothy , Hathalmy, Palasthy, Elephanthy and Konkoly.
