On the engraving by Georg Matthäus Vischer from 1674, the castle , which lies alone on the banks of the Danube , had a double-hewn roof. This has been replaced today by a roof structure that covers the entire building. The former three-story building has also lost one floor. Today the house is owned by the Webinger family, who run a guesthouse here.
