Castle in Cannes-Écluse

The castle in Cannes-Écluse , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was originally built in 1140 and completely changed in the 19th century. The castle is located on Rue Désiré-Thoison.

The two-storey building was rebuilt in the 19th century in the neo-renaissance style by the Fitz-James family .

After the French Ministry of the Interior bought the building, a police school was set up in it in 1964. Today the castle and its outbuildings are used by the École nationale supérieure de la Police (ENSP).
