Düsterntal Castle (formerly Düsternthal) is located in the municipality of Delligsen in the Holzminden district in Lower Saxony .

It was finished according to plans by Hermann Schaedtler . The aristocratic houses Hardenberg (noble family of Lower Saxony) and Steinberg (noble family) from 1397 were active on the manor. The Guelphs took it over from the noblemen of Homburg . At times there was a forest school there. It now serves as a therapy center under the name of Schloss Delligsen. The castle is three-storey, and the building complex includes other outbuildings.
