Coat of arms stone

The castle is a simple, cubic structure with a half-hip roof . The narrow, two-storey extension on the southeast corner was built around 1900. The three-storey porch with a groin vaulted porch on the east corner, open on two sides, dates from the 16th century. The facades were redesigned around 1900. The coat of arms stone in the north-east wall of the arbor is labeled "Friderich Kraschneg von Greifenstain, Herr auf Greifenthurn am Hammern, 1715". The late Gothic hall located on the northeast side of the ground floor has a two- bay groined vault with trimmed ridges. A late Gothic arched portal leads from the west corner of the hall into a three-bay hall. In the hall above the hall there is an anti-Protestant inscription created shortly after 1600. It is considered an important historical monument from the time of the Counter Reformation .
