Hönsäter is a mansion on the outskirts of Hällekis in the Swedish province of Västra Götalands län .

Hönsäter was mentioned for the first time in a sales deed from 1348. In the 15th century the estate came into the possession of the Stake family. The castle was built between 1667 and 1670 under Harald Stake. Two wings were erected in the 1750s. In 1796 the court squire Bengt von Hofsten (1747–1826) bought the estate and had it completely rebuilt in 1806/1807; the side wings were replaced by the ones that still exist today.

Hönsäter was classified as Byggnadsminne in 1979 . Today it houses a hotel.
