Heinersdorf Castle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heinersdorf Castle ( Polish : Pałac Spalona ) was a castle in Heinersdorf, today Spalona in Gmina Kunice in Powiat Legnicki (Liegnitz district), Lower Silesian Voivodeship .

In Heinersdorf, a German foundation that has been documented since 1280, there was originally a moated castle , of which a mansion remained after many renovations . The last major redesign took place around 1780, so that the building reflects the transition from baroque to classicism . Until the Reformation, those of Beroldisdorf, von Sommerfeld, von Keul, von Redern and von Baumgarten were owners. Then those of Rothkirch, von Richthofen, and around 1850 that of Wittgenstein, until 1917 von Zwicklitz, until 1929 the Güttlers. From 1929 to 1935 Heinersdorf belonged to the owner of the neighboring Jeschkendorf estate, until 1945 Curt d'Idler.
