The Gmina Kunice [ kuˈɲiʦɛ ] is a rural community in the Powiat Legnicki of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the southwest of the Republic of Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Kunitz ) with around 1100 inhabitants (2010). The community maintains a friendship with the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Brühl .
