Joeri Clauwaert (born July 3, 1983 in Gent ) is a former Belgian road cyclist .
Athletic career
Joeri Clauwaert won a stage in the Tweedaagse van de Gaverstreek in 2006. At the end of the season he drove for the Belgian Professional Continental Team Landbouwkrediet-Colnago as a trainee , but did not get a professional contract there for the following season. In 2008 he again won a part of the Tweedaagse van de Gaverstreek, the U23 event of the spring classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the Grote Prijs Stad Geel . The following year he won the Memorial Noël Soetaert and the road race of the Provincial Championship Oost-Vlaanderen. At the Tour de Gironde , he was fifth overall. In 2012 he ended his cycling career.
