Kerstin Castle

Kerstin Castle is a ruinous manor house in what is now the Polish town of Karścino in Gmina Karlino (Körlin) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

history

Gut Kerstin was one of the old von Manteuffel estates. From 1760 Kerstin was owned by von der Goltz, who in 1764 resold the property to Frau von Gaudecker and whose family remained owners until 1945.

Building

The castle , built in the 19th century, is two-storey and elongated with an indicated four-column central risalit . In the 19th century, the building received several veranda-like extensions. In the central part of the facade there was a tympanum with the coat of arms of Gaudecker , which had been destroyed since 2011 .
