Kieslingswalde Castle ( Polish : Pałac w Slawnikowicach ) is a castle in Sławnikowice , Gmina Zgorzelec (municipality of Görlitz), Lower Silesian Voivodeship , Poland .

history

From 1725 the place was owned by von Fromberg. In 1801 the von Gersdorf acquired the place, followed by Arthur von Witzleben in 1864. The style of the castle dates from the 1800s and was probably built under the von Gersdorf family. The architect may have been Karl Gottfried Geißler.

After 1945 a primary school was housed in the castle. Vacant in the 1990s, the castle is now privately owned and used as a guest house.

Building

The building has a rectangular floor plan and a mezzanine and a high hipped roof . The building is accentuated by a four-column portico with a triangular gable . The facade shows similarities with the facade of Romberg Castle (Samotwór).
