The Liemberg castle stands in the western town of Liemberg in the municipality Liebenfels .

The castle was built before 1547 by the Gradenegger ministerial family below the medieval Liemberg Castle, which was given up as a residence. The building is a four-story country mansion with a shingle roof. On the six-axis east and west sides and in the middle of the seven-axis south side, the castle has roof-like tower-like projections. The south tower has domed Renaissance windows and a small wooden bell tower. The facades have roofing windows and stone walls in the style of the early Renaissance.

Below the castle is a building that was used as a meier farm until the 20th century. The two- or three-storey building with a widely cantilevered hipped roof is built using a mixed construction method: the ground floor and the northern upper floor are bricked with quarry stones, the southern upper floor is built in wood block construction and has a walkway around the corner. On the east side there is a coupled arched window from the 16th or 17th century. The hallway on the first floor has a barrel vault with stitch caps.
