Despite the conversion to a farmhouse, the basic structure of a castle is still recognizable. The defense tower was removed, but there are two Schattauer coats of arms above the entrance to the building. The hall was shortened by one floor and converted into a house floor. Instead of the former, large palace chapel, there is now the courtyard wall. The chapel established the connection between the living area and the farm wing. The original entrance to the castle was by the gate tower, which is still standing today.
