The elongated complex, lying on a narrow rock ledge, was first mentioned in a document in 1237. A first castle was built at the end of the 12th century in the north-western area, where the terrain slopes steeply over rocks. The keep, which is still well preserved and can be climbed as a lookout point, was built at the end of the 14th century. |

The parish church was first mentioned in a document in 1230. The nave walls are Romanesque in the north and south, the tower was built in the 13th or 14th century. In 1516 the nave was extended to the west, and in 1968/69 an extension to the east followed. The historic hall is three-bay with a lance-cap barrel. |
