A first castle was built at the end of the 12th century in the north-western area, where the terrain slopes steeply over rocks. The keep, which is still well preserved and can be climbed as a lookout point, was built at the end of the 14th century.
		Meierhof of Prandegg Castle ObjectID:  15531	Prandegg 4 KG location : Prandegg	The Meierhof, located southeast below the Prandegg castle ruins, was first mentioned in 1631. It was rebuilt several times, expanded in 1854 and renovated in 2000.

		Catholic Parish Church of St. James ObjectID :  15530	Schönau im Mühlkreis 1 KG location : Schönau im Mühlkreis	The parish church was first mentioned in a document in 1230. The nave walls are Romanesque in the north and south, the tower was built in the 13th or 14th century. In 1516 the nave was extended to the west, and in 1968/69 an extension to the east followed. The historic hall is three-bay with a lance-cap barrel.
