The current building was built between 1480 and 1490 as a late Gothic, imposing country church. The 25 meter high tower rises up in the northern corner of the choir, its wedge roof alone is 15 meters high. The three-aisled, five-bay nave is 18 meters long, 13 meters and 9 meters high in the middle. The central nave is covered by a ribbed vault, the two side aisles carry rising ribbed vaults.

The house, built at the end of the 17th century, is west of the church. The two-storey house has a crooked roof and inside has stitch cap barrels, groin vaults and wooden ceilings.

In 1362 the building was first mentioned as Edlmühle. The mill ran until 1920, and since 1992 a museum. The two-story building has murals and inside houses a collection of farmhouse furniture from the years 1780 to 1860.
